Against The Wall

Title- Against The Wall

I recently watched Against The Wall in class and I want to review on what I witnessed. his movie as about the Attica Prison break in 1971. The prisoners took over control of the entire jail and went rampant. They started to abuse heir officers and each other.

Michael Smith is a new recruit to the prison service. There is also several of his colleagues there also. All of them get caught up in a prison riot fueled by bad prison management. A huge lack of understanding by the guards caused the prisoners to attack in the most violent form they could. They hung a few guards, beat some to death, and gave them ungodly torture. Not only did they destroy the guards, but the other prisoners as well. The power completely took over each other. Michael and Jamaal created a strong bond in he movie and both tried to make it out of there alive while everyone else tried to break each other to bits and pieces.

I think the main actor Kyle MacLachlan did and EXCELLENT job at his character. His credibility is amazing. he had me emotional, scared, worried, anxious and so many other things in one movie. he made me believe he was a real officer and I liked that. bad actors ruin movies completely.

Even though this wasn't my favorite movie we watched, I still liked it. It as entertaining and very interesting at most times. It was graphic and very visual, which made some parts hard to watch, but for the most part I give this a job well done!

This movie is rated R
I give it a 2.5/5
